I know it's been a long time since I last wrote anything here. This year was a hard one.

I ran into a lot of problems while building runv.club, and my personal life didn't help much either. But things keep moving, even if they move slowly.

I'll try to come back more often and post some updates.

What a year.

In one month, runv.club opens its doors.

Created by Pablo Murad, runv.club is a new social network built for people who still believe the internet can feel personal. Creative. Strange. Alive. It is inspired by the spirit of the early web. Publishing felt magical, communities felt real, and your online space actually belonged to you.

It is not a place that flattens people into metrics.

runv.club is coming in April 2026.

It leans on the IndieWeb's emphasis on owning your data and building for human publishing first, the original Gopher protocol's simple distributed model for documents, and long-running community systems like SDF, which describes itself as "a community platform for inspiring, facilitating and implementing new ideas."

Since 1996, when I first jacked into the internet, it has been a source of fascination, study, and also my livelihood. Forty years of the web, and the change is obvious.

Even so, in a world this fast (overloaded with information, endless scrolling, and constant noise), a certain nostalgia for the old internet and its methods starts to hit differently. Looking back is a way to admire the art.

That's why I'm introducing htmlansi — a simplified way to create .ans files, the kind that used to be everywhere in the old internet scene. Maybe, just maybe, it can inspire a new wave of cyb3r artists to build, experiment, and keep that spirit alive.
